The Academic Herring Breakfast “Sillis”, or herring breakfast, is a casual hangout the day after the annual party, where the main thing is a good company, delicious food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Despite its name, a herring breakfast is not a gathering around a can of herring.

At the herring breakfast, students gather in their overalls to enjoy the morning’s raves and the previous night’s festivities. The event involves eating suitably greasy food, drinking from gift bottles, and possibly even taking a sauna to wash away the previous night’s pain.
